Savoy Hotel - Kansas City, MO

We expected a really nice and remodeled piece of history and were very disappointed. The free parking was nice, but the building was really run down. The room was decent but there weren't fitted sheets and it was pretty damp. The TV's are small and the amenities were sparse. The absolute worst part of our stay is that there was a horrible smell throughout the building. We even went out and bought an air freshener in an attempt to make it better. We were both so nauseated by the time we checked out (from the smell) that we wish we had checked out and stayed elsewhere. We will not be staying at the Savoy again.
